WebJan 27, 2024 · There were no hardware mods required on the gotek like some of the forums would tell you - the FF firmware has taken care of media detect and HD selection. FF also can use the HxC utilities and loaders if you wish. For hobby on the Atari I see no reason why FF cant do the job. Physical installation : Most systems require a Shugart interface (default) and the select line 0 signal (jumper on S0). These systems work out of the box with a standard Gotek configured with FlashFloppy firmware.
