It didn't seem to want to fit and I found a video on Youtube that says to throw the spring away. I did and now it fits fine. Is there any need for the spring around the bulb and has anyone else done this? Yep, M951 does not use same bulb as M961. Then, Malkoff M61 will not fit in M961. Malkoff had a MD10 module, exclusive for M962 and M3 lights, however its no longer available.
